Prepare Your Organization for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) establishes required cybersecurity practices for organizations handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in support of the U.S. Department of Defense. Under CMMC 2.0, compliance with NIST SP 800-171 and associated DFARS clauses is a prerequisite for eligibility on covered DoD contracts.

Organizations must demonstrate not only that controls are implemented, but that policies, procedures, and operational evidence support a defensible cybersecurity posture. CMMC readiness requires structured assessment, remediation, and evidence preparation aligned to auditor expectations.

How JLGOV Supports CMMC Readiness

JLGOV provides CMMC readiness, remediation, and assessment preparation services aligned to NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 requirements. We help organizations understand their current posture, identify gaps, and prepare the documentation and operational evidence required for formal assessment.

Our approach includes structured reviews of System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), control implementation, and supporting artifacts. We focus on ensuring that technical controls, policies, and operational processes are consistent, repeatable, and defensible.

In addition to assessment preparation, JLGOV supports remediation activities, operational alignment, and evidence generation through managed operations and security monitoring. This enables organizations to maintain compliance over time and respond effectively to auditor inquiries.

Status: Registered – pending final CMMC C3PAO assessment/authorization. JLGOV prepares organizations for assessment; certification decisions are conducted by authorized assessors in accordance with CMMC program requirements.
